Graduation Requirements

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Beaumont Unified School District students must successfully earn a minimum of 220 credits to graduate based on their specific graduation plan. The course credits required to graduate include:

 

  • English: 40 credits
  • Mathematics*: 30 credits
  • Biological Science: 10 credits
  • Physical Science: 10 credit
  • Foreign Language or Fine Art: 10 Credits
  • World History: 10 credits
  • US History: 10 Credits
  • US Government: 5 Credits
  • Economics: 5 Credits
  • Physical Education: 20 Credits
  • Electives: 70 credits

*Must include 10 credits Algebra 1 or Integrated Math 1 (Education code 51224.5)

 

Total: 220

 

Middle College High School students are expected to also meet the minimum A-G Requirements recommended for admission into the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) System.  The courses required to meet A-G Requirements include:
